This is my mount, is from agile off-road. Really happy with it.

Bullet point ultra short Arm + cradle.

I created a few different 3d-printed device mounts and used them throughout most of last year. I refined that design into a single mount that works with either a common RAM 1in mount or a 67Designs 20mm mount. The shape works with (or without) heated seats buttons, and it fits in any of 6 different positions on the console. I have 3 attached right now. It will fit in top position left or right side (pointed up or to the side), and it will fit in the bottom position left or right side.

This is probably the most cost-effective, easy, and flexible mount solution I've seen.

I will post this STL file to the Resources page eventually. I also may try to convince Stu to carry them in the forum store (as a kit with proper SS hardware). Finding the proper plastic threadform screws in a SS SHCS is not easy. We had to buy screws 1000 at a time when we did the reverse camera glare shrouds.

Yea, I dug out an old soldering iron and filed the end to fit the insert.

Your screw question sent me on a journey. I'm sure I had thread pitch gauges in my toolbox at some point. Where they went after the move to Australia five years ago remains a mystery.

I think the stock original screws are standard Metric M4 with 0.7 pitch, which is the size I'm using for the longer replacements.
On the left is a screw taken from the horizontal panel next to the cup holder. I recon it just goes into plastic so it doesn't really matter all that much. In the centre is one of the original cap screws. On the right, one of the replacement cap screws I'm using.
I tried the original screw in a standard M4 nut and it fits just fine like I would expect, as do the replacement screws I'm using.

Interesting. I’ve just played with the overhead panel, and those are the coarse threads, but not any coarse thread that I can find on McMaster-Carr in the US. You are saying that other screws that hold panel’s are regular threads?

I bet as long as we aren’t screwing and unscrewing the coarse thread ones, even if they are a bit off, they won’t jack with the holes- and the panels (at least the overhead), snap into place and don’t even really need the screws. It’s just as I develop and tweak designs, I end up screwing and unscrewing the screws a fair amount.
