Didn't really notice it until tonight, but the dealer misaligned my oil fill cap and now I have oil all over the engine compartment. Messing with the cap it seems an honest enough mistake that the cross thread happened. Took a bit for the oil to show up; 50 miles of New Orleans Causeway bouncing will do that.

However the Gren smells like a diesel burning oil and I need daylight to figure out how screwed the surrounding engine bits are.

First two pics are a bit low light, but the right side is high (missing the threads). Third pic is after I loosened and refit.

Mossy changed the oil a couple thousand miles ago. No one else has ever touched the engine. Interesting because I now know I am not the only one for such an incident from Mossy. Need to see how bad their forced maintenance ruined my Grenadier.

Video of finding the leak, edited off the front part where I was searching. The amount of oil smoke made me think leak onto the exhaust manifold.

Thanks, I was going to wait until the new year before doing anything else because I know yall are busy and don't want to hassle you or I with the issue until I can get a look in the daylight.

At least want it noted incase there is damage warranty wise later.
