Americas USA Reservation Holders - it’s happening this weekend!

Not open for further replies.
My pre-order has been up since mid-July. It states June 27th with a reservation date of 9/30/2021. Nothing has changed on my account since the mid-July update. I also got an email today that ready like the one previously posted today. The only difference was that there was not a paragraph about any further communication.
What’s your time stamp on the 27th

I was unaware that a sense of humour excluded you from Grenadier ownership.
I didnt say it should exclude or include anyone.
Im just saying that using movie and tv characters avatars as representations of themselves at a high end premium brand dealership certainly isnt the norm.
Nor should it be.
If you like it then great.

It looks perfectly professional to me.

I think that they were delayed in responding this past weekend because England advanced to the FIFA World Cup Semi Finals. Perhaps the whole country took a respite?
FYI: No update in my inbox.

Great!
Maybe they will be dressed as Barney when you pick up your vehicle.
That would be da bomb!
Oh wait, youre not even picking up there, are you?
Youre just taking issue with me because youre a fan boi?
lol

While I'm moderately confident you are being humorous; the emails and contacts will be coming from Ineos in the US, not UK

Just got off the phone with England. All USA reservation holders, check your inbox this weekend for an update / build slot etc…
I think we need to hear from Mr. Espresso again & find out what happened on his follow up call with England. ☎️🇬🇧.

If England is busy on the other line, ask to speak with UK.

Cheerio boys....

Got a change. Does everyone else have the configuration button? I’m afraid to open it.

I'm not sure, too many people lately take life way to serious. It made me laugh. If they take care of business I could care less what picture they post on their about us page.
I can assure you that I dont take life too seriously, in fact im rather aloof, I just think as a first point of contact I would want to know who I am dealing with especially when they sell cars that cost as much as they do.
I am just serious about who I hand my money to.
Some of us have to actually work for a living.
After dealing with them and they show me that they take care of business, fine, lets joke away, but as a first contact as a page that shows
"Who we Are" maybe I want to actually know who I am going to do business with as the page advertises.
My impression was I am dealing with a bunch of college kids or something selling weekend fishing trips or some sort, not products that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Maybe I hold everyone to too high of a standard which is the standard that I conduct business when people are paying me for MY services, I expect the same degree of professionalism, integrity, etc that I extend to my clients and I would never put up some stupid false picture of who I am not.
I know a lot of folks think that people who sell us things of passion take an attitude that these people are doing us a "favor" by selling those things to us but they are not doing us a favor, they are in business. Big business with big dollars.
In that regard I guess I am serious.
Again, like I told the other guy, if you like that non sense then great.
Everyone here expresses their opinion and I rarely comment on all the stupid crap opinions (IMO), I keep it to myself.
I appreciate you commenting without being snarky or rude and I responded in kind. (I think!)
It's MY opinion, like it or not. If yours differ what do I care?
Your money is not my money.
:)

Mine looks just like yours. I don‘t want to mess with the configure button either.
That is how mine looked up till today, I put my reservation in 3/2022, not sure if that has any bearing on when they update to the pre-order confirmation I got today with viewable PDF of my build.

Just checked.
We received a new pre-order number with today's date.
Estimated build month is blank.
Original reservation was made in 2/2022.

It appears that none of us in the US and perhaps Canada have received anything different then when we first put in our pre-orders and they locked up the system. If your screen is showing what is in BOLD below, I would recommend not clicking the red Configure Your Grenadier button as you might start a whole new configuration and or put yourself at the back of the line. I am not brave enough. Leave the red button alone. DaBull
“Please note, that your Pre-Order will not be visible here until we have completed pre-order production planning”

Considering that a car is the number two financial transaction for most people, I’d say that Ineos has been kind of aloof in their communications. They seem to be more in the mood of selling some kind of hobbyist gear or experimental home gadget. Maybe they should’ve just put this on Kickstarter.
The odd thing to me, is Ineos seems fairly responsive when you contact them, but they aren’t very proactive, and actually just reaching out in mass messaging. I don’t know if it’s the new generation just disliking email, but Ineos seems active on Twitter, why wouldn’t you send out emails 1/10 of the time just as an update to people?
Why not send out an email on August 1 just stating that demand has been way higher than expected and it’s taking them longer to build the list?

EXACLY. You just nailed it.

Excellent questions that will (probably) never be answered -
