Well, I'm in Houston. I just went out and benchmarked all my insurance as Progressive had gone up significantly on both auto and homeowners. Landed with State Farm and the IG is $1300 / 6mo. That is with fairly high policy limits and a deductible of $500 and a driver below 25 (my son).
