I have a factory installed winch, but I have some plastic front license plate in the way. How do I move the license plate? It looks like it pivots upward but what tool do I need?

Grab the top left and pull sideways to unlatch, then up.

It's wild (and really disappointing) that the dealer didn't go through winch operation with you at the time of purchase.. Either way, exactly as the folks have said, push the tag bracket to the side and it rotates up and out of the way
