Trip button not working

Searched this and didn’t see a response with this exact issue.
My trip button isn’t cycling through the menu (mpg, range, avg mpg, etc) any time there is any type of notification on. (Low fuel, tpms low tire warning, etc)

Anyone else have this? Is that standard?

Yes, experienced this exact issue when i first got the truck and i magically started working at some point and i haven't had any issues in the last 3 months. Very odd.
