Americas Tow Package install - Software Update

I got the tow hitch and software update today. Was this function there before? “Deactivate all ADAS functions”View attachment 7849882

Mine came from the dealer with the tow package installed (Mid Feb), for me its been there since day 1. The ONLY reason I don't use it it os because I want to retain the AEB.

Is it persistent and without warnings?

It does not persist with cycling through Start/Stop. The only "Warnings" are the tell tale display showing you the forward camera and ADAS functions are off.

Yes. When you deactivate everything you do get a few warning icons (amber) on the dash. I deactivated prior to driving away from Dealer. Became aware of the icons once focus was not as much on driving the Beast. No odd sounds etc. Kept driving. Stopped for food and when got back in ADAS was reactivated and no icons.

Yes it was there.

Had an update completed to the software last week. Speed clicker fixed. The odd parking sensor issue went away too. Whatever the software update was, I know when they installed it, I was one of the first. Just lucky to come in at the right time.

SW number? I’m 2070 and got my truck with the hitch already installed.

Crown Ineos in St. Pete Florida says they are still waiting on the tow hitch update.

Crown says the tow hitch update is now available. However initially they said they would come to me in Orlando to install the hitch. Now they are saying I have to go back to St. Pete for it.

There have been some vehicles where the update has been installed incorrectly resulting in the ADAS functionality being disabled.

Eventually Ineos will resolve this with another update.

Got trailer hitch installed at Regal yesterday. Clicker still there
