Ok. I have owned my Grenadier a year. I have been on this forum for even longer. I love the vehicle, small quirks and all. The one that has gotten annoying to deal with and i cannot find a thread on here that helps is the annoying tire pressure warning. One, i have owned a few vehicles. I have never seen my tire pressure fluctuate so much. Second, i truly don’t understand what parameters set it off. Front to back, side to side, one tire pressure could be the same as the other and it sets it off as high or low and the other does not. Third, one day one tire pressure is ok and the next day it sets the warning off.

The bottom line is i spend way too much time with a compressor trying to dial in a pressure that my vehicle will like only to have it dislike it none the less.

I am sure i have missed something easy but it is my one true complaint.

There is a thread, I will try and find the link.

One thread is firmware changes here.

Looking for the second thread, from memory on tyre pressure warnings, but I need to find it and check. EDIT: look here.

Thank you. The firmware link is helpful. I missed that thread when i searched on here. Has a software update come out to solve the issue? I saw a solutions of waiting overnight or going into the settings and changing the pressure setting. Both seem valid but a bandaid.

Big tyres are affected more by heat.

Second, i truly don’t understand what parameters set it off.
Unlike normal cars, the IG allows you to set your own ideal TPMS temp (due to different surfaces or air temp that you may be spending long periods in). Then it will go off if you vary too much from that. If you stick with the factory default, your optimal temp may not be what it is set at and you should change it.

Once one tyre reports it, it doesn't update again with the other tyres. So, it looks like it is just one reporting its out of range but that is just how it reports.
