Has anyone purchased an extended warranty yet ? I was offered multiple choices by Regal of Atlanta Georgia. So far I have declined, but was told they could be purchased anytime before the basic warranty expires.

Interested.

Especially if it’s IA-backed so it’s nation wide.

Virtually every extended warranty will be nationwide... The majority of them are not manufacturer backed, and thus means that any qualified shop (not just dealers) can do the repairs and be reimbursed directly

Edit: Whether or not they actually cover the repairs and at what rate is a whole different story... From dealing with them on the "other" side for 15+ years, it is almost always a fight

I have good luck with Fidelity Platinum. I bought this for my Panamera and wife's AMG GLC Coupe instead of the ones the dealer was selling. For the Grenadier, dealer was at $6,000 for some 5yr/100K mile warranty. I priced the Fidility Platinum (it's online through a Volvo dealer in the NE somewhere but can't recall name off top of my head) and it was something like $3600 for similar coverage with $250K deductible. They have a variety of different times and mileage to pick from. I didn't buy it yet. I doubt I will keep it past 5 yrs and it is just a toy so I probably won't go past 60K miles on the factory warranty so for the Grenadier I am likely just living with the factory warranty.
