Staying positive - it is good to see that at least some Forum members liked the idea of positively shunning negativity....

I have positive ideas for my 2025 - trips and experiences in the planning. What are your positive ideas for 2025?

Id like to do the nc500 since I've always had Audi rs3 with 255/30 tyres which just hated pot holes , went through 5 tyres in 6 months with one . So more trips out west/north of Scotland would suit me
Would like to meet some of the local members to myself.
Just hope the car keeps performing as well as it is for me ,

We've been round the NC500 - before it was even called the NC500! A wonderful road trip. If you get to Islay, give me a shout :)

I am hoping to meet up with other owners again next year; we come to Blair Drummond (Stirling area) regularly, and usually try to meet other owners for at least a coffee - possibly the same further NE as well. Watch out for a new thread in the new year!

Merry Christmas 🎅

Bet it was quiet back then , I have read that it is so busy during summer . I will keep that in mind 😀

Was there just a few months ago , it's around 3 hours for me , just so far away. Yeah I did see that yous all met in Cullen .

Merry Christmas 🎁

We did it three years ago in our Defender in sept/oct. Lots of rain so not the best camping weather.
Didn’t think much of the east coast but loved the west coast. We got to camp on a friends estate nr Tongue which was wild and remote.

Yeah Id want to go summer time but that's peak camper van season. Yeah I've been up the east coast to wick , it's not impressive the way the grand tour done would be good up the west coast then cut across to Inverness

One can get super excited about big and small purchases — the anticipation, sadly, can often end up as the best part! But with a really big purchase — you have the exponentially amped pressure of wanting the payoff you’re hoping for.

With my Grenadier, I feel I got more than the payoff I was hoping for bc I love it that much! Looking at it makes me happy, driving it makes me happy, seeing it in a parking lot looking all bada$$ makes me happy, knowing it’s sitting in my garage makes me happy. I also love that it spells tire as tyre, little things like that make me smile.

Those are just a few things I’ve listed but that’s some great payoff as far as I’m concerned! It delivers everything I hoped it would and more.
