I have a NOS Husky 10 that I've been saving... having owned two or three others over 25 years, I have found them to be the most robust and reliable of winches. Yes... probably overkill for the frequency I now use a winch (as opposed to when I was in my 20s), but I nonetheless have an affinity for it.

I may well order this winch tray, knowing that it has a different mount pattern that would require modification... not even knowing the dimensions to compare against:

Anyone else consider a Husky? Or do I just have to catch up to the times and not complicate things??

Old school Superwinches were great winches from a durability standpoint

As far as fitting... from a quick Googling the Husky 10 has a 10x4.5" bolt pattern, which is the standard bolt pattern for winches, so that isn't a problem for the LFD mount. It does appear to be about 4" wider than a Warn VR, which in the middle of the winch mount should fit no problem (I just went outside and measured, the mount offers ~27.5" of width in the midsection); however it narrows down towards the front slightly, and I'm not sure how that would play with the Husky. Additionally, the "top" surface of the bumper comes towards the rear of the vehicle slightly, again, it may interfere with the shape of the Husky.

I would contact LFD and see if maybe they have (or can acquire) a CAD drawing of the Husky to "put" in the cradle to see if it will fit
