Supension Upgrade Options

They don't break it down by a labor hour shop rate, but it looks like around $160'ish/hr. Example; front end alignment is $250.

Thanks, that seems reasonable. I think the shop my dealer recommended is massively over charging for labor.

Agile just release the fox shocks. I've watched a bunch of videos where people take apart shocks and they highlight that they like the material choices on the fox shocks better than on the kings so i've been waiting for them. looking forward to the reviews.

Unfortunately, as I expected, but hoped otherwise, Fox delayed these shocks again. Am now being told end of February. Not sure if I'll hold out and wait, with no real confidence that date will be met, or go another direction. Life is short, but I sure would like Agile to handle the entire upgrade.

I’ve had the Reiger/KW kit on my Grenadier for the past few months. Had the Eibach pro winch springs prior (German kit).

The reigers are wicked. 40mm subtle lift. Enough to get 35s on. 4 way compression and rebound adjustability means you can pretty much infinitely set up the way it drives. I’ve gone hard on all kinds of trails and can confidently say my grenadier drives the best it ever has… with 35s on!

It’s excellent on tarmac too. Full clock, tracks straight and confident. I have the factory steering stabiliser. I think it’s excellent.

I don’t like light steering. My LC200 feels like it’ll take off at high speed and I don’t feel confident cornering at speed. My grenadier feels like it’s glued to the road and the steering is deliberate and heavy. I appreciate that very much.

The Reiger kit is expensive- no doubt. But, if you know how to use it, you’ll quickly understand why it costs what it does.

I run my tyres at 30psi all around on tarmac and 25 on marram.

I was talking to Nomad Outfitter in Englewood, Colorado after looking at one of their rigs. They reached out to Bilstein for me about 8100 DSA for the Grenadier. The rep told him the Grenadier is still in the development consideration stage, He said it means it will likely happen, but it will be months before anything gets going. They are currently going through the new Toyota platforms, so soonest it will be done is after those projects.

So you can see the Bilstein 8100 DSC on a heavy Gladiator with Tray

If you're interested set of Bilstein let them know, it help move up in queue. Longer service intervals that are still rebuildable.

Note Nomad Outfiters really like the Grenadier are open to projects with them.

Reiger is badass, but above what I want to do. But wow, I like the idea of Bilsteins. I have PSS9's on my track/street 993 for the last 20-some years and love them. Never needed any service. And these 8100 DSA's with a 100K service interval are very appealing. But, as mentioned earlier, life is short and I am reluctant to keep kicking the can down the road for the next thing, never doing anything in the meantime, even if my bias preference would be toward Bilstein. But if Fox issues more delays, Bilstein could be a real consideration though! :D

You have options like Radflo and Kings

I'm still looking for more feedback on the kings
So far I'm really enjoying the kings, I have about 1000miles on them and two offroad trips. What I really learned to like is how quick easy was to adjust them for on road or off. My settings on road with 35PSI is 4 and seems to really help the Grenadier to actually drive down the highway. I'm putting together some testing and notes for a longer post but I want some more seat time before I make that post. However when using off road 8clicks out I can go over washboard without really having much bouncing around. I need to test with full soft setting but thinking that will just be better off road.
