For those with the adjustable fox does it need to get rebuilt every so often or a set and forget type of thing?

Every 50k miles if only driven on the street, 10k miles if a 50/50 mix of street/off road, or every 1,000miles if only driven off-road

Keep in mind those are just guidelines. If the unit continues to function as expected then it could last much much longer. Especially over the off-road limits.
