Solarscreens came back to me saying I would need to make templates for the IG windows so they could make the window covers. I pointed out this thread and suggested they already have them! As the windows on the Prototype are the same as the production vehicle, plus or minus safari windows.

Now waiting for a response.

I use these on our youngest‘ windows. You can cut them to measure, attach the sticky patches and you‘re done. Works very well. One side black, one side silver.

Sydney based Offroad Systems (ORS) are also willing to make internal draws, water tank and a bed extension for the IG.

Are you going to be their Guinea pig? Interested to see how they go with a bed extension.

Yes. But I will probably not be the first as my car is due in November. ORS already have measurements for the 5 seater IG (mine is a two seater).

Car needed
When someone gets their car they can ask Solarscreens for the template kit, so covers can be made.

If you live in Brisbane you could lend the car and they will probably do it.

Hm. I was mainly looking for safari window ones, which are the only ones they do not make.

Oh you're right, the company doesn't include Safari windows. But i think they make some on request.

SolarScreens now has their solar screens available the INEOS Grenadier. As of today, the prices in AUD are:

Touring Set - All windows behind the front seats/front doors - $282.00 (Most 4x4 customers choose this configuration)

Cargo Set - In most cases the rear cargo area behind the C-Pillar or second row of seats - $195.00

Cab Set - Generally the windscreen and front doors - $250.00

Full Set - All windows, this normally is provided as two bags (Cab & Rear) - $499.00

Dash Shade 150mm tall – covers the bottom part of the windscreen - $70.00

Plus postage.

Expedition HQ has a similar product. However, my previous SolarScreens never let me down, so I ordered SolarScreens again.

As I will sleep in the car, I bought the full set.
