Adding the leveling kit to the Diabolical Drawer system add more storage and trim out the flat surface in our Design-Build-Go Grenadier. Really excellent quality and improves the versatility of the drawer which is flat with the seats down. Check out our site at www.design-build-go.com or call us at 704-682-9323. We install all types of products for Grenadiers in our Statesville, NC location.

I put a lockable door there and I really like that door. I use it somewhat frequently and I wanted to see if I can continue to use it with the drawers.
I use a door very similar to this:

Do you think this still works with the leveling wings attached?

Someone should design a locking mechanism for the left side wing hinged area so it locks, I would use that as a small safe for valuables.

How much weight do you think I can put on top of the drawers?

Really, really awesome video btw! I like your videos, they are great.
Too bad I'm on the other side of the country, I would have taken my truck to your shop if I was closer.

The drawer system is 4.5" front where your safe door is. Then it does up 7.75", I just measured for you. So I do not this the door on the safe has the room to swing to be frank. The wing isn't the issue the drawer height is if you ask me. The upside is the drawer is lockable so you would have a lot of space in there for goodies.

I know you can sleep on the top of the drawer system. The two top panels can be bolted together which would be ideal to do. I think they are capable of 300 pounds the drawer slide is good for 500 pounds.

Thanks for the encouragement on the videos. I have no experiance with any of it till I started in June, so I try to make some short ones and longer ones for hard installations.

Do you think a lock can be installed on the left wing to make the entire wing lockable? That would be great for putting valuables in the trunk somewhat safe.

Yes if you have fabrication skills. It's not too difficult. The bracket that holds the door closed could be modified and then I would use a three digit tumbler to be honest for quick access.
