First visitor to the Grenadiers Shed

Well that's a look of surprise.
This little lady, (a bit over 1 metre long) popped up over the bank behind my shed this morning.
Haven't seen any for the last 4 months over winter.
Last time she was here the shed wasn't and I think she got a bit of a surprise.
She normally lays her eggs here.
She turned and left but I won't be surprised if I look up from my computer and find her walking across the shed floor

I used to work for a french electrical company called Legrand and I was in a pub in Kalgoorlie with the young Parisian General Manager back in 1993.
I ordered a beer in a very noisy bar and he asked to see the wine list.
It was like a comedy sketch, the whole bar went quiet and everyone turned to look at us.
I said loudly that he was only joking and would have a beer too.
Barman laughed and so did several others.
The barman said that's lucky, we have a box of red and a box of white but I don't know how long they have been open.
