As IA have their own proprietary interface, it could be anything they fancied, so I'd suggest you try a few sequences and see where you get. You will often find that some are resettable without tools, (oil changes are common), and others need more sophisticated approaches, (plugs, pollen filter, fuel filters, bulbs), needing to plug in the "right" tool.

Within the EU, some processes have to logged with the manufacturer, so anything emissions related might be quite tightly held.

Yes all dealers say that about their models, bring it in they need to use their "specialist equipment" to reset things. ( and there is only a small charge Sir) In reality there is usually a short cut work around.
My wife's car has the quirkiest to reset the oil change " ignition on, do not start, press throttle to the floor three times in quick succession, and then ignition off.
It works and saves me 180 mile round trip to a dealer.

Agreed. There should be NO need to do a reset at the dealer. Every vehicle I have ever owned has a process of some kind - Mercedes, BMW, VM, Toyota, Ram, etc. The European cars typically make it more complicated with a hidden process of some kind, but all of them have some kind of process that does not involve taking it to the dealer. The whole concept of the Grenadier was to make field and remote service a user capable process and the fact that a simple oil change reset is not in the owners manual is exactly the opposite of that commitment.

Hi all, my variation is I now have a "26 days to servicing" visual alarm that pops up - every 10 seconds for 10 seconds. That's right - at least 3 visual alarms per minute, EVERY minute. I'm adding this to my next service list. It's getting a long list.
