I'm guessing that is Magic Mushroom ~ or grey as it's recorded on the official registration.

There's perhaps only 1 white vehicle in this test fleet and the registration is HF72 FXP, and so far it seems to be quite camera shy. Maybe because it's an N1 and the journalists are all in Belstaff editions?

Very nice although those awnings are pretty flimsy. It looks like the slightest breeze would collapse them. I’ve checked them out an overland show and the hinge/joints wouldn’t stand up to serious use in my view.
The awning on my defender was self supporting and you could put poles and guy ropes for breezy conditions. Could also hang off it and do pull up if you were that way inclined and not too heavy of course. The only plus side to those awnings from what I can gather is that they are light weight.

How stupid has the world become that she now writes after her name that she wants to be referred to as she/her.

Not particularly stupid, just more complicated than things used to be.

Let’s leave that one alone I think.

Now, back to the highlands….

I have one of these awnings, previously I had a Foxwing one, the Fowwing was great but the poles came in a separate bag and they were a pain to carry around and then ine day a big wind caught it and it was all over it just buckled and broke the joints. The Rhino one is a significant improvement, the poles fold into the case so they are always there andbout of the car. The construction is definitely more robust and the joints are replacable if there is an incident. I think it a pretty decent product, its not bulletproof, and you do need the poles but it fast and easy to set up.

Yes seen these at various shows and they are very substantial with week made frames. A lot heavier though I guess
It will be the third thing going on my grenadier
Frontrunner slimline 2 rack
Lazerlamps lights
then this
Then attachments for maxtracks to go on when I am going 4wding, not permanently

that Scottish White in the Scottish Highlands
If this is really Scottish White they had better call it Yellow Snow compared to the white on the mountains.

I’m with you, in my case I’d lean towards a simple roll-out version, but I believe the major argument is that they’re quick to deploy.
Guy them down and I think they’d be OK. In my experience the problem is wind getting under and lifting the awning, so pinning the thing down is the crucial step.
Do you have a 270 in mind?
