Brilliant.
Biggest restraint to putting an order on a quartermaster View attachment 7881556
Is there a picture of one installed with the pedal placement? It’s looks nice to increase passenger footwell in a LHD, but, if it creates a wide crevice that you cannot actually put a foot in, without it being under the brake pedal, I'm not sure why one would want it.

I was cleaning out the mud in the driver's footwell today. I was quite surprised at the thickness of the sponge between the metal floor and the dead pedal itself.
While it is OK for me, I take @trobex point that it is not comfortable for some.

I wonder if a bit of trimming and replacing the hump with a generic dead pedal would be a solution?

As he's still with us despite the long miles of discomfort, I have to accord some respect to @trobex and offer to help mitigate the monstrous hump in his Grenadier. Therefore I'm offering $20 American toward the total cost of his GrenX Milk Crate Delete Floor Mat order.

@trobex - PM me your Paypal address if you're going to pull the trigger.

'Tis the season...

he's gonna get his crocks stuck under the brake pedal and die, and it'll all be on your head.

Nobody would be seen dead wearing crocs in Queensland. They all wear pluggers (flip flops , or as we say, thongs) . Very dangerous for driving, but then again they have real crocs so they're used to taking risks 😃

So long as the message makes it to the wider community! Buyer Beware!

100%. Like Trobex, I detest the foot well in the RHD Grenadier. It will affect individuals differently but I still think they could have done a better job with it out of the factory.

I have about 30000km under my belt now and am living with it for day to day driving. For decent trips >3000km I remove the flooring and replace with my own matting which is more user friendly.

I think the Grenx floor option is a step in the right direction for those that it annoys.

I have put about 1500km since I have removed the floor piece. No difference to noise, or heat that I can tell. Has been driven in hot environment in Far North Queensland. Hump didn't bother me until I re-injured my back, and the sciatic pain was amplified by the Left foot being elevated. Just placed closed cell foam in the low spots. Added a rubber backed carpet scrap over the metal intrusion. It is held in place by the plastic panels that I just tucked it under. Rubber floor mat placed on top. Both feet are level now when on the floor, and no more pain in my leg. There is room to fit my size 12 boots next to the brake pedal to stretch out also.

Mudnut,

Your Mod is Outstanding!

That's what INEOS boffins should have done in the Factory,

This is a touring Wagon should have a biggerfuel Tank!

Cheers
