Most winches, including red winch and superwinch have the standard bolt pattern
254 X 114, or 10"X 4.5"

Why would one spend 2x on this than an LFD Off Road center section? What is it bringing to the table for the extra $?

A bit stubbier, but that also equates to less winch clearance... Still better priced than the LeTech piece

LeTech gives you the drama of not knowing if it will crumple from a side load. That's priceless.

Thanks. But, my bigger concern relates to the Husky being offset to one side... so beyond bolt pattern, I wonder if there's enough room to 'center' it.

You do get to have the front tow hitch added if you wanted to keep it with the winch.
