Americas Recall: Wiring issue, Aux switch

Ineos Automotive Americas, LLC (Ineos) is recalling certain 2024 Grenadier vehicles equipped with the auxiliary switch package relay. The relay control wire may have been trapped under the relay power cable connection fastener during assembly, which can result in a short circuit

If I'm not mistaken, only a handful of these vehicles were delivered before this was found, and all of those vehicles have been inspected; the rest are inspected before customer handover

There is only one pinched wiring "recall", it is being checked before the vehicles are being released.

It's nothing to worry about and only *may* impact the above vins.

Just received my notice (snail mail) that my VIN is affected. I will call tomorrow just to be sure it was looked at.

The notice referenced my specific VIN only.

I just spoke with the dealer and they do need to look at it. I had planned to do a 6k mile oil change and checker plate install next week already so it is added to the list.

I submitted a request online and my dealer's service director responded:
"We completed that campaign 12/15/2023 when it came off the truck. Yours was routed properly."
