Has anyone been affected by a recall on the tow capacity decal? Apparently my Grenadier arrived with a tow capacity decal that states 3500lbs not 3500kg. As a result, they can't release the vehicle to me since it's an open recall. They have to wait to receive a corrected decal from Ineos. I don't understand this because 3500lbs is incorrect in the RIGHT direction, lower than the true 7700lbs towing capacity. Thoughts???

Idiots everywhere. 🤷‍♂️

(My brother's standard statement)

Or the Americans could convert to metric like the rest of the civilized world??

Runs and ducks for cover. 😉😂😂😂
America did convert to metric they just didn't make it compulsory.
In fact the 2 liter (should be litre obviously) soda bottle was invented in the US.

So we would need a folded, newspaper sized, sticker 🤔

Bump for visibility. Curious if anyone else has insight on this recall.
I don't believe this to be an actual recall, as if there was a recall there would be a NHTSA filing for it.

It is absolutely possible that they left with the wrong sticker, and thus are being held at port or the dealer prior to sale

I couldn't find anything elsewhere either. In fact, most of my searches only pull up this thread.
