I had the Grenadier wrapped... Now my back door sensors aren't connecting. Slamming the doors shut didn't make a difference. The sensors are the little cones? Hoping they just need t be aligned. Thoughts.

I haven't had mine wrapped and my rear door sensors go off constantly.
It has been back to the dealer 3 times to get sorted and no luck.
I can't lock the vehicle with the key most of the time and often when it does work I find the alarm going off sometime later (usually 2 am) because the sensor has detected the door open
This has been happening for last 5 months.

Get a torch and stare into the cone holes . Clean any grime etc.
Yes the sensors can be adjusted. Top and bottom.

I remember Torchy the Battery Boy! How sad is that :)

My wife’s popping down to Australia for a month this summer - visiting her brother.

I’m staying home with the dogs.

Hello, I had this issue as well, rear door alert would come on when encountering rough terrain or the door was closed too gently. I added a 1/16 washer behind each of the three bolts on the upper latch on the larger rear door. (My washers were too large but it is what I had around the garage and fit fine)Since then we have not had any issues with the rear door sensor.

The cone receptacles are just “dumb” allignment / centering guides, there are zero electrical connections to them.

Having the same problem here, first of ownership and after 100 KM the gremlins start showing up having the rear door error messages coming up. 2nd day of ownership and already need to go back to the dealer......

I had the problem in the first week. The fix was to move the top body side latch on the big door out a few mm. This seems to be what makes contact with the sensor. Others have simply shorted the wire which is on the door side behind the trim. No issues since doing this and it only took 5 minutes.

Hello Commodore, thanks for the prompt feedback, I will take those suggestions into serious consideration if the Ineos mechanics here in Taiwan are unable to resolve it.
