Price rises today : Nov 8 2022

BTW: My price(s) have not changed on the Ineos website.

But one of them is definitely wrong: the first order and the second are absolutely identical, but one cost about 1600 € more than the other. 🙃

I have asked my representative to investigate this.

Order summary not available now. System melting down 😳

Have a look in the order summary. There the prices have been risen this morning

No, this difference has been there since I placed the second order in August. And a comparison of the PDFs doesn't show any differences as well: Same positions, same prices.

Just checked out my Trialmaster, still showing the original prices as when I signed contract. I am assured this will remain the case.
Specked up the same, from today it would cost me over £7000 more! That would be a deal breaker for me!

Now the configurators are coming live, it appears that there is considerable increase in price.
Base SW 5 Seater in Australia has gone from $85,500 to $98,000 - Thats a 14.6% increase.
Could it also be that the default Base offering (in Aus at least) is higher-spec?

Suspect this might be the case since my order (quite highly spec’d) rose by much less.

Clear your browsing history and reload the website ;)

Does this mean we are all in for a £5k windfall? Don't tell Kier Starmer! 😜

The idea is right and I did that before. Doesn't help. And it wouldn't explain where the higher price come from. Both orders are exactly the same spec.

I'll however try this again the next time I log in.

It was the same for me when I went on today it was showing the older prices, cleared history, restarted computer and it worked. Still some Gremlins probably.

Michael don' t get me wrong, but do we have any proof ? I think Ineos ( Mark Tennant ?) should announce officially that the price increase affects only new customers.

Unlike every politician, I think JR would rather keep the companys promises than do a 180!
Seems to me he is committed to many sports and puts his support and cash behind them, I included 4x4s here. If he make’s money in the long run, well done him, what about the England womens rugby union team, World Cup finalist again this Saturday, grenadier in big letters on their jerseys or a picture or one would look great 😎 Good luck girls anyway 👍

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out for the North American orders. We don't yet have finalized pricing confirmations so technically there'd be no 'increase' for reservation holders here. All manufacturers have been jacking prices, and our inflation in this part of the world is 10% -- and that's after the folks in charge changed how they measured inflation to take the sting off a bit! - so it's not a surprise that the Gren is increasing in price.

Right now, it's expected to be, when loaded up, to be in the cheaper range of the Land Rover Defender, or the high end of the Jeep Gladiator with the Diesel engine.

Australia...
Order Confirmation Email: $107,117.46
Old Price as per ORDERS page: $107,259.60
New Price as per ORDER PDF: $114,275.00

Greg, how does that compare to other vehicles on the market right now like the Jeep Gladiators and LR Defenders?

They need to get their website sorted.
Base price has stayed the same with the little sword thing indicating INCLUSIVE of GST, but accessories have increased.
But then you go to Checkout and they then ADD GST.
Anyway price increase makes my interest level decrease considerably. It’s going to have to drive bloody well for me to be interested at above 300 Series pricing.

I agree, I think it will take a little while for the website pricing to settle down and be accurate - this is based on our experiences with the INEOS website updates.

Fingers crossed, but will wait for something official.

Righto - configurator seems to be sorted.
New price $122.9k.
That’s $14k and nearly 13% more than the beginning of the week.

On a vehicle we haven’t seen or driven, from a brand new untested marque, with an undoubtedly a brilliant concept but a “just send us $5k and cause you should trust us and if you don’t like it we’ll give you back your money sometime”.

Surely I’m not the only one thinking this stinks?

Talk about winding you up and then kicking you back to earth.
