Owl Eibach Lifts

Mine goes in next Thursday to Owl in Mesa AZ. I'm going with the 2.5" lift and king shocks. I will report back after I get some miles under the belt, the cool thing is I will be driving just over an Hour to get there and same drive home when I pick it up so I should have a pretty close apples to apples experience.

Just had the Eibach 2.5" lift installed at the Owl location in Longmont CO - took awhile to get into their shop (they were moving from an old location to new) but once in, they got my lift installed in less time than quoted and so far so good. Crossing my fingers the driveshaft issues stay clear of my truck.

I got my lift and the King shocks from Owl, and they did the install (in Arizona). I've had no problems = at 13,300 miles now, about 10,000 of those miles were with the lift and 35's - I've only had the Kings for about 3,000 miles. I highly recommend them, they dramatically improved the ride.
I have the same springs and King kit. Around town the truck rides great and I have the dials turned to the most form, which is all clicks to the Right. However, I still have a ton of body roll and unstable feeling at highway speeds and I have to back off the accelerator on winding highway. Feels like I could slide right off the highway or worse. Leeroy, do you get this also?

Thanks,
Joe

That is interesting, I had OWL install mine in AZ last week and I took a long road trip and offroad adventure and found no real issues. They set me at 7 clicks but I moved it to 4 to get it more stiff. After I did that it removed my body role and effect by wind on my road tip. I would assume setting to max stiff would even of benefited that much more. Sounds like you are having the opposite then my findings. How loaded was the rig when you feel that? I was running with about 500lbs plus two passengers.

I don't have that issue and I drive faster than I should. It could be due to a lot of possible causes, like alignment/caster angle or steering damper. If possible, try driving another Grenadier and see if you feel the same way. I'm used to wobbly lifted SUV's so maybe I just don't notice it anymore after all of these years? But I never feel like I'm going to fall off the mountain.

Thanks. I'm going to play with the shock settings to see if that helps. Would the new items from Metalcloak improve stability? https://metalcloak.com/ineos-grenadier.html

I really don't think so, however they would seem to give more adjustability and maybe strength on the replaced components.
I've ordered the new Eibach front/rear swaybars. I'll report back once these are installed.

If they are coming out with thicker sway bars I wonder if this means a lowering kit will be next? Given that thicker sway bars are the opposite of what you would want in any off road use case

They are also silver!!! lol

I was also hoping new bars maybe new disconnects coming.
