Owl Bull Bar

The grenadier aftermarket tax is pretty outrageous I agree, for all products. Especially for producers who already manufacture the same product for other cars. Like we know that scanning the new car, redesigning to fit the new car, and building testing prototypes is not cheap. But we also know even with r&d costs its not ~40%+ more per unit more expensive to produce.

The more I look at the whole bumper, the less I like it. It's almost a little too clever, a little too sleek and modern for the Grenadier. I think I like the look of the offroad animal bullbar a little bit more, and it looks easier to get into the winch: https://offroadanimal.com.au/toro-bull-bar-to-suit-ineos-grenadier-2022-to-current/

Just not sure they'll even ship them to the US and the charge will probably be high
The exaggerated size around the lights make it look like eye glasses. 🤓

Not a fan. The curvature of the bar not cohesive with the angular shapes of the grenadier.

Owl should have done something like this:

This is attention to details. See how the radius of the bar corner matches the radius of the fender corner?

This owl bar introduces a plethora of odd shapes to the most prominent portion of the vehicle. The visual value proposition of the vehicle is greatly diminished. Also hate how the bottom bar protrudes beyond the weld joint with the vertical bar, by about 1/4”. It just looks haphazard

I agree and also have to ask, is they your 90? I have one nearly identical. Love it.

The dealership wanted $3600 for the stock Ineos bullbar. Sorry guys but that’s too ouch for me. I went with go factor hoping it maybe ships this week. I have a buddy with a very nice F350 with a replaced bumper and guard and it was only $1200 and it’s massive.

My point this whole time. I’m not against buying something just because I want it, I did buy the Gren after all, but I do have this thing about letting someone pound me in the arse. And it ISNT volume. Some of the places making bumpers for Landcruisers are mom and pops doing a couple at a time.

Oh yeah, vendors are taking us for a ride and not the fun kind

The more I look at it, the more I like the Owl bar and the less I like the GP Factor bar. I think the bar looks better with the "rise" in the center-top like the factory bar than straight across. That said, the GP factor bar is modular so if they released a different middle section that looks like the factory bar, then it would probably swing me back that direction.

Does anyone know if the OEM bull bar is also made in China, like the crappy side runners? I am slowly trying to dump all of my Ineos accessories and go to aftermarket- higher quality and a better price

They are made in China. That's partly what's driving up the cost in the US. Folks are getting hit with $500+ Chinese import tariffs even though they're shipping from Australia.

Functionally speaking; if the bar is ever used for its intended purpose, the Owl Bar, with its curves and angles, is going to be most effective at moving the object away from the front of the vehicle. And for everyone’s sake, I hope that object is no larger than a small branch….
