Americas Organizing a trip to Big Bend National Park

Hope to see some Grenadiers in Big Bend from the 17th to the 20th of this month.

I saw your pinstriping video on the other page, but thought I'd keep the Big Bend thread going.

I'm hoping to get there next Spring. Was that Black Gap or Glen Spring? An hour with a gas hedge trimmer would clear that right up.

I'm thinking about just doing River Road East to West and hoping to avoid any 'character marks' for awhile.

I think that was Glen Spring feeding the marshy area in Black Gap Road.

I think Spring would be perfect weather. Might want to check for moon phases. We had a full moon for 2 nights overpowering the stars. Moon rose layer on 3rd night so we were able to spot Comet C/2023 A3.
