Australasia oops

don't keep us in suspenders DaveB

I reckon @DaveB has been selected as the new Ineos Australia brand ambassador - and as such he will be getting his car first before anyone else …. problem is that he wasn’t initially told that he should keep it top secret and is absolutely not to tell anyone about it at all.
He's undergoing debriefing right as we speak

He probably will not have much time for this international forum here in future as he has to focus on his local Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts.

But who’s going to like all my posts? My reaction score will plummet!

I think that way he just marks all the posts he has already read.

he's either gone to bed early or he's happily pissed as a nit on "lady petrol", to quote Clarkson.
Dave???

I hope he’s okay - perhaps we should send in the police for a welfare check. It’s the longest he’s gone without posting … or liking… on the forum.
Yeah I hope something adverse didn’t happen. There was a post on FB that looks like it’s disappeared.

There are a lot of rumors about construction and delivery. It would be a very unusual business transaction to build a not-so-cheap car without the customer signing a binding purchase contract. Maybe your dealer looked too deep into the crystal ball. But congratulations anyway. It never hurts.

Back in town, welcome Dave! (y)

Probably they made their risk analysis: they know most of us really want the car.
And concerning the very few who will withdraw and not sign the contract, even if the car has been built: Ineos and their dealers will be able to sell these cars ... at the higher price!

Yes, imaginable. But then why doesn't Ineos build the cars with signed sales contracts first?
