very nice bemax. Like the IB roof. Tks for the pics.

Have to say that despite some frustration and disappointment with timing and communication, I am still as excited as a kid before Christmas and the obvious movement in the past week or two is just heightening that. I truly can’t wait to get my hands on mine. Even though it will be at least June where we sit at the moment

Agreed Andrew. Between the atrocious comms and the RHD footrest, I was angry. Now I'm sated knowing I might (might) see this late August... even I can wear rose tints until it arrives!

Yep, the excitement for me has only increased as the first deliveries roll away.

Would be even more excited if IA rolled out some more contracts as that seems a definite step prior to 'in production'. Still a bit miffed they haven't been slipping them out on a regular basis. Veering off from positive thoughts here so I'll step away.....

They will deliver. Until then, spend the time preparing, like reading the manual. I am now about halfway through. Now I sit down in my Series 2a and drive over the fields and through the forest. I imagine what it will be like with the Grenadier. I certainly feel more caged in. Because today I don't have a canvas on. And when I come back, I vacuum the garage and damp mop up so that the Grenadier feels welcome.😊

Five minutes to midnight on Christmas Eve......
Agent emailed me yesterday. Since my Fieldmaster arrived ( with 4 others ) last month they have had "lots more arrive". All queueing up for various checks and tweeks. Expect release from IA soooon.

Hugely impressive build and finish quality to the vehicle. The chassis looks like it’s built out of pig iron and is way thicker than my old Defenders. Fit and finish was G wagon. Paint and panel gaps again G wagon. If this was an early one off the line, it makes my similarly early RRS look terrible with a simple paint and panel gap comparison.

Huge want. I laid underneath and had a good poke around. It’s built like a Unimog. What I mean is that most items look appropriately over engineered. The vehicle was a Trailmaster with most extras on apart from the roof rack. The winch is excellent and beautifully engineered into its space."

Nice gesture of my dealer Becker-Tiemann in Einbeck/Germany! A small brochure with three tours in Germany for the Grenadier, a nice mug and a card. I am delighted!
