Hey There,
So I recently moved to Portsmouth, VA from Southwest VA. Anyway, back in July I ordered a ‘25 Fieldmaster with many goodies from Bentley if High Point in NC. So maybe a week or so ago I checked on my order to find out about the Recaro thing and that my delivery was moved to July ‘25 from my expected December ‘24. The salesman then told me that they had some ‘24’s that met all my specs and a that 2.9 financing and $5,000 in goodies were available along with the ‘24 price. They had one green one that met what I wanted and I originally ordered a green one but it had a winch and I had no interest so I pulled the trigger on a Eldoret Blue Fieldmaster. We made a deal last Friday and the dealer is delivering to my door free of charge, hopefully before years end.
So here we go!!!

Have fun? I got it delivered two days ago, I have a total of about 90 miles on her and the check engine light came on. Dealer says it’s a problem with the fuel sensor. Came with a full tank and I have not put in any gas. They said I need a software update but I am 4 hours from the dealer and no over air updates. Tried the fuel cap as I know that can be an issue with some cars but nothing.

Sorry about that. But I don't think it's a major problem. But yes, I understand that this is not the best start. Nevertheless, I would like to encourage you and I am convinced that there is a solution. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

The fuel sensor issue is software and fixed in a later firmware. I cannot recall when it got fixed but it must be getting close to a year ago. Either way, its a bit naff that your dealer didn't put the latest firmware on the vehicle before letting you drive it away.

It helps to remember that we all bought a new, limited production car from a new car company. There are going to be issues. You have a 5 year warranty so don't worry too much.

If you can reset the light with a code reader then I would just do that and have the dealer update the firmware next time you're there.

Take it on a trail and have fun!

I never experienced the fuel sensor issue, but did have the software update and I have not had any issues at all. 7,500 miles into my ownership and there has been no issues whatsoever.

Guys any idea what to do about the information screen. I turn the car off, lick the car the interior lights go off but the screen stays on. I don’t want it draining my battery. Thanks.

It turns off. Just click lock twice and everything turns off. Or if you are in the car, turn it off and eventually it turns off by itself. I am unaware if a way to make it shut off sooner. It is just a few minutes or seconds if you lock it with the key fob.

I click lick twice and everything guns off except left side of screen it stays on. How do you manually turn it off?

You can’t. It shuts off on its own. Mine shuts off shortly after I walk away and have clocked twice to lock it.
