Check them for excessively loud power steering whining sound.

Check the hvac. They may not work properly.

Be cautious.. there are some egregious issues Ineos has failed to address. Low trust relationship at this point. Research those before deciding

Would not recommend buying unless you are HIGHLY infatuated with it.. there are too many downsides
Been reading up. Was hoping that these things were being addressed by the factory already.

The power steering is noisy but still works as should. I don't find it as a issue

As for the HVAC mine works finest on auto , does make a noise on fan level 4 , again I have -2 Celsius and I was perfectly warm.

Nope.. no info from Ineos

For a small operation that relies on consumers’ leap of faith and bidirectional goodwill, they are as cold and non communicative as a big establish brand with shitty customer experience.

Ha I have only received proactive outreach from Ineos, during my shopping phase. After a test drive, some British person called to ask how I liked the experience. Zero touch points post purchase.

Without any scientific or methodological basis, I’ll go out on a limb and say this re HVAC and steering pump. I think 70% of the cases are about misaligned expectations, not about product defects. I just find it odd that most of Australia, more rural US, etc are so quiet on the issue. This isn’t a hard and fast rule, but sure seems that way to me. My HVAC on the highest setting howls like the souls of the damned, and the vent gates slowly open one by one like a drawbridge in a medieval castle - but the hot is hot and the cold is cold and I can defrost the windshield. Heats up quickly and cools down quickly and vaguely resembles the temperature I select. Seems alright to me. I think most people are willing to grant that it’s “rustic,” but not a defect or major issue. I’ve also seen cases where someone is really frustrated with theirs, takes it to the dealer and gets a loaner and says the loaner is better, so I’m willing to admit there may be some issues with some units - but I think a lot of it is more a matter of where people are coming from. For those of us who debate whether we wear our “dressy” flannel shirt to church, or the one with beer and fish guts, it all seems to work well enough and we just don’t care. I’m sure it will smooth out over the next few years of production and design improvements - this is Year 1!!! If these are the issues that people worry about, wait until that time - and DEFINITELY thoroughly test any unit you’re buying off the dealer lot. Also be sure to check the battery. Otherwise, buy a GWagen or GX 550 or something like that. Smooth and comfortable and well-mannered.
