A statement about LRO
Land Rover Owner International is ending publication. Always sad to see a print magazine go the way of the dodo.

I hate digital versions, as the patient said to the proctologist. It just says the print version is finishing up so still available as a digital version.
I stopped subscribing some time ago, and it's along time ago I used to "browse" it on the shelves of WH Smith whilst waiting for a late train.
You are probably right. But there are some magazines that still help out and are a good read. I bought the explorer magazine (German) the first time two weeks ago.Haha. Done exactly the same. It was always the one I looked for. I used to know a guy who did a lot of their photography.
Shame to see its demise. Thing is forums like help kill the old magazines. Clearly not intentionally but you can see other owners vehicle (), ask advice problems etc and get answers almost immediately, and generally see the latest vehicle toys via links to other sites.
Allowing Nene Overland to advertise is a bad omen in my booksI have mixed feelings about the demise of LROi; I was a subscriber, (I'll be getting a few more Practical Classics for my subs), but I didn't love it. Too much stuff from Britpart and Nene Overland, neither of whom are in my good books. Too much orange crap from Extreme, too silly to be taken seriously, and adverts for stuff I don't need. (I've still got a LR90).
I'll miss Roverphile and the problem pages.
LRM thinks they will grow their circulation.
Completely agree. Some questions about them. Presume this is a newco as I thought they’d gone into administration/liquidation following US export activity that didn’t quite meet the rules!Allowing Nene Overland to advertise is a bad omen in my books![]()
I take a leaf out Mr Merton’s book and end every statement with allegedly if I’m on thin ice.For anybody that doesn’t know about Nene Overland then Check the owner out. I don’t want to incriminate myself![]()
