Sorry for being vague guys, but I'm sure you understand the position I have on the forum and being associated with INEOS so all I can do is give you the heads up for now.

It was down to the availability of Shale blue paint, you could either keep your build slot and change the colour or have your build moved back if you wanted to keep Shale blue.

They wanted to know if you wanted to hitch a lift in one with a professional driver but you couldn’t have a go in a Shale Blue one.

If I am honest I am waiting for another email this month saying there is another delay. It’s certainly on the cards I feel.

I’m not sure how accurate Google is on the subject, but is the cargo trip from Europe to Australia 8-10 weeks? The same query said Europe to USA was 15-28 days. Somewhere it was said the trucks will be shipped to NJ so hopefully the time from arrival at the docks to the dealer will be the shortest/quickest. There are very few perks to living in New Jersey, but this certainly could be.

To Australia from Zeebrugge is either 6 or 8 weeks depending on route.

When we get to the point of US shipments, I have a close friend who is a merchant marine. I can reach out to him and get better details and time frames on shipments.

I got the same via email. Funny though. It read like a scam email with some dodgy grammar.

Must be a fairly recent issue, I have shale blue and received an email from the dealer that my car has been built, waiting in batch and hold for enough to ship to Aussie.

Maybe they ran out of Shale Blue on all the Australian builds?
