INEOS OIL FILTER PART NUMBERS AND REVIEW - B57 & B58 MOTOR

Mann probably/may make the filter for BMW, hence they look identical. They just have different packaging.

These relationships are not always transparent, but Mann has been associated with BMW over many years. Car makers normally source filters from OEM filter companies, they do not make the filters themselves.

My Ineos Grenadier Diesel was delivered as standard with a BMW oil filter No. 7826800-01 - Made in Tunisia. This filter also has the number UFI - 25.252.00 (Universal Filter Italiana S.p.A.). printed on the housing . I
When you purchase the above BMW filter, it comes in a BMW box with the number 1142 7 826 799.
I also now bought an UFI filter with the number 25.252.00 but without BMW imprint. This filter is also made in Tunisia. Both filters have identical dimensions and the same number ( 50 ) and depth (approx. 10.2 mm) of the filter paper ribs. To me both filters look absolutely identical, except the UFI filter is significantly cheaper. I think both filters are made by UFI North Africa in Tunis/Tunisia
