I am finding more fuel stations have a standard size nozzle and a "press button for hi-flow" option.

There are online posts about truck diesel damaging BMW motors (outside Australia). When I looked I could only find one standard for diesel in Australia, and therefore all diesel must comply with that standard. So in Australia, Truck Diesel, Premium Diesel, Super Diesel, Ultimate Diesel or just plain diesel should all have to comply with the minimum requirements in that standard.

Thanks for the reminder @bakepl.

I had tried to obtain this genuine VDub adaptor a couple of times but it was always out of stock. Currently available from Amazon. Cost me A$36.69. Delivered in 12 days ex-USA.

Length 135mm
Filler end OD 25mm (bottom)
Nozzle end ID 42mm (top)
Nozzle recess depth 25mm

Haven't used it yet. I expect it will take some trigger whispering to refuel without blow back or nozzle cut-off.

Reminder: You only need a solution like this if you're refuelling a diesel Grenadier from a hi-flow pump that is fitted with a large diameter nozzle, as is often found at truck fuel stops in Australia.
I have the same. Bought it off eBay as dealer said out of stock.

Yes, there is much conjecture about truck diesel but old JC here explains that "truck diesel" just refers to the bowser and flow rate of said bowser

Hi Doug,

My recently purchased dealer demo doesnt have an armrest either. I spoke to spare parts at dealer and apparently Ineos wont sell you one - i asked what happens if the car is damaged or vandalised would they supply then? No apparently! Kinda makes me nervous as to crashing the car.
Anyway i was searching for options and came across this post and wondering whether you managed to solve the issue?

Cheers
Chris

I have not managed yet the arm rest out of a disco 2 can be easily modified giving yuo 2 boxes ,one upper and the lower original ,but I am having trouble finding a suitable plastic that will weld to the disco box . I might try screwing the piece in as it will need upholstering and that will cover the screws . I have quite few project on the go and when I could not weld it I lost a bit of interest . must get back to it as we are planning a big trip next year .
