Interesting fact. Well interesting to me anyway. The factory Ineos acquired from Mercedes was previously used to build Smart cars for Mercedes / Smart /MCC. It was previously called Smartville. Production was ultra efficient and a lot of pre assembled third party inventory was assembled in the factory. That factory got bought by Ineos when smart car production ceased. Interesting in itself slightly yes, but curious was that before I knew this, I acquired a smart roadster as my work commute car cos the grenadier doesn’t fit in my work underground car park - and now I own two different brands and completely different tasked vehicles - that I discovered this morning were seemingly built in the same factory but 20 years apart. Life is strange sometimes!! Little and large!!

It's a shame they didn't persevere with the roadster and coupe, on the plus side for yourself is you have a rare appreciating vehicle.
From what I understand there were a few niggles at the beginning, sounds familiar, but the aftermarket have pretty much sorted then out.
The old dear who lives next door, her son has one and has had it for years 20+?
They are a very interesting vehicle and well done on choosing something different, it's almost like you have a thing for the more unusual
