What? That $450 was a reservation fee which will ultimately be returned to you. If you search the US buying procedure has been outlined many times.
Yep. I know that. Thanks! I thought you May have some other intel Mr Krabby. The $450 was a place holder - it got you a spot in line. But since we have to buy our trucks from dealers (and not IA themselves) that $450 will ultimately be returned to us (perhaps directly through the dealer).
I wish. I’m equally in the dark with everyone else.Yep. I know that. Thanks! I thought you May have some other intel Mr Krabby.
It's just a pre-order. The real order will be finalized with and submitted to Ineos via your dealer, which we will get in August / September. They gave me a reference number, sent me confirmation email, etc, etc.....
They didnt ask me for money....
I was expecting to enter a debit card number or something....
What am I missing here?
I have searched. That $450 was a reservation fee which will ultimately be returned to you. If you search the US buying procedure has been outlined many times.
Because unless you made a reservation before the pre-orders opened, your spot is at the back of the line, and thus they won't charge you the $450 that some of us paid nearly 2 years ago to be at the front of the lineI have searched.
That's why I am questioning why they didnt ask me for money for my spot in line.
Im not complaining!
Exactly. If you paid your $450, my understanding is as long as you get your pre-order in by the end of the month, your place in line will be in the same order as when you paid your $450, regardless of how people placed a pre-order ahead of you.Because unless you made a reservation before the pre-orders opened, your spot is at the back of the line, and thus they won't charge you the $450 that some of us paid nearly 2 years ago to be at the front of the line
In the US we'll be 9+ months behind the first deliveries...At this point I wouldn’t mind being a couple of months behind the fist deliveries.
I thought it was no deposits required until contract signing time?No Deposits required for US preorders.
