but not when releasing a new product line.Don’t sweat the small stuff.
A good rule to live by perhaps.
I have had hardly any bongs, and haven’t noticed any difference after the software update.I get the low fuel warning but fix that by adding fuel and it goes away.
I have a random bong. Usually underway at speed, that I just cannot ID. I can live with it, but my curiosity want to know! I’ve never caught a warning on the display.I had an experience where the rear door sensor would go off if I accelerated very quickly but the warning display would only show up for a tiny fraction of a second so it went unnoticed until it stayed on for just a bit longer once and even then it was just a flicker of something in the corner of my eye. It was so short, in fact, that I had to have one of my kids take a video of it in slow motion and watch it back frame by frame.
That was the problem I had.Based on my experience, my money would be on the rear door status sensor.

Interesting. So it could be the sensor and not merely an adjustment? That was the problem I had.
Replaced and not another sound since
I called Ineos phone support and the person gave me a case number. He then contacted engineering and called me back on a Sunday afternoon. He was in the UK. He said they were aware there was a problem with a small number of rear door closed sensors. He logged it against my vehicle but the dealer neglected to read it. I refused to take the vehicle back until it was fixed. They ended up taking the entire lock mechanism off a showroom vehicle and fitting it to mine. That was a year ago and not another peepInteresting. So it could be the sensor and not merely an adjustment?
When it bongs, does the infotainment screen show the rear door open warning? It usually accompanies the bong with visual indicatorsUPDATE: The gong has gotten way worse, going off for no apparent reason like when I accelerate off a stop light of simply driving over a slight dip in the road. Sometimes for absolutely nothing at all. I drove around 4 miles yesterday at heard it go off over a dozen times. I think I'm having a problem with the rear door sensor. Can anyone show me where it is, how to adjust it or simply disable it? I've looked all around the rear doors and see nothing that might be it.
As per George Carlin: don’t sweat the petty things and don’t pet the sweaty things.Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Beitrag im Thema 'rear door latch adjustment how?'This vehicle makes so many way too loud annoying sounds, clicks, horns, and beeps that my wife refuses to get in it any longer. I can turn off the ADAS speed warning click, but why should I have to because Ineos has had NO software updates since I've had this truck (1 yr, 2 months). Then there is that loud train horn sound. Sometimes it is telling me that a door is ajar, so I have to stop and SLAM that door closed, especially the rear doors. But sometimes it just startles us while we are driving for no reason at all. How can I stop this? Can someone show me where the speaker (or device) is that emits this sound so I can destroy it? This vehicle is such a pain in the ass to drive for numerous other reasons, and the noises are over the top. I just want to enjoy the damn thing!
