S.O.S. HVAC system not working at all

On a trip in the mountains and my HVAC system is not working at all.
No heat or air. No blower fan.
Have tried the usuals turning off & on, turning key half way before starting to let things start. Nothing is working.
Help appreciated as we need heat to keep the windows from freezing.

Stu experienced something similar. He said 10 minutes with the car off cured it and believe it was a bubble in the heat exchanger which decativiates the entire HVAC system.

Im serious about resetting it by doing the hold down procedure. It cured my pixelated screen.

You just turn on the car, and hold the button down and the screen will go blank and reset, if I recall correctly. Your mileage will disappear and be 0, but it comes back. You should be able to search that.

It may be a failed blower motor, certainly not common at all, but possible

I was able to resolve HVAC issues by pulling the fuses for all HVAC systems. I put them back in and it came back to life.

Is the HVAC system on its own fuse? It may just be a fuse if a soft reset doesn't sort it

You might try puling fuse FC11.

This is the EU fuse layout.

The one shown above is under the ignition switch

Pull fuse F112 in the interior fuse box under the left rear seat for 30 seconds.
