How effective is the AC in 90-100 temps keeping front and rear seat passengers cool?

We keep running into these temps road tripping and I want to make sure the AC can keep up.

Works fantastic! No worries at all!!

Great when it works. Mine has a issue where it works probably 9 out of 10 trips. When it fails it will only blow warm in the front but super hot out the rear vents, like I have never felt heat like that out of any vehicle I have owned. I have to shut the whole system down and roll the windows down. No amount of playing with the controls will get the cold air to return until I stop and let the truck sit for at least 10 minutes. It will usually work fine after that but not always. When it does work it works great and cools the whole truck down pretty good. Apparently I am one of the lucky ones that has an issue Ineos knows about but has no idea how to fix it yet.

Im in the desert. AC working well and we're between 110 F to 115 F daily now

Just out of curiosity, if you are having problems what are the settings? I am at altitude, with 100F+ degrees etc and it works fine.

I have the thermostat set to 73, the auto and AC lights are on and the fan speed is set to zero.

It has been well into the mid to upper 90’s here in the Carolina’s the past few weeks and my AC has been great.

I have yet to try the Auto setting. I'll give it a shot.

Cools fine in our Summer and eats a bid fat D in winter... the hottest setting for front is barely warm... realistically feels like 24C. Rear however blows 100% unadulterated hot air - so I guess that balances it out but the kids legs hairs are singed in the back seat area! However, on the 2nd hottest setting, both blow COLD air... making it not very good on single digit days! But stuff it just window down.

Same as mine. It’s on the warranty list.

That’s interesting. By the time i received mine heat was not on the list of concerns. Guessing i will hit that in about 6-7 months. :)

I keep it on Auto around 72 degrees. Works great. We’ve had a couple 100 degree days lately and the Grenadier was cool and comfy. Had to run the defroster during a gully washer rain storm yesterday. Cleared my windshield in under 5 seconds.

I have never run the defrost yet. Heat setting I route to the floor and it keep the glass clear. AC I use the dash vents, which also helps cool the rear of the vehicle.

AC works well, I like the round side vents - easy to aim. Can cool down a Houston Texas hot car quickly after sitting outside all day so it is a capable system. VERY noisy AC though. Even took it to the dealer to 'fix' and he started up two more Grenadiers that sounded the same. So it's a tad embarrassing with a loud roar and whine while waiting in the Costco gas line. Especially noticeable with the windows down. Vehicle sounds good and quite clean running when AC is off. More like a diesel garbage packer truck with a turbo whine with AC on. Still like the car so I'm accepting it as a 'quirk'.

I am a new owner.

The AC shuts off randomly at long stop lights.

I am still learning the gizmos. Luddite at large.

That’s a GG magnet btw.
