The hood warning light has been activated. But the hood is closed. We did just do a code reset due to a faulty Fuel Sensor. Wondering if this could have triggered this to happen?

Drop the hood from a good height (~2' if not more), as with the doors, it takes a good bit of force to actually close.

If you have any up/down wiggle (when closed) on either side, it means it isn't latched fully

Also when you open the bonnet you should feel 2 distinct catches release on the handle. If you only feel 1 then it wasn’t latched properly.

It’s happened to me a few times ;)

Echo what the others say. The bonnet/hood might look shut but there are two catches and one won’t have caught properly. Happens to me quite a bit.

What feels like too high a point to drop the bonnet does the trick, or just a positive shove on the two front corners sorts it.
