Is there a good place under the hood to bolt on a power connection? I'm debating between putting something like this under the hood to do a simple connection to for jumper cables or an air pump or debating using the nato outlet. I guess I'd prefer the nato outlet but A) Not sure it would be any quicker or easier since the hood is so simple to work with. B) Was reading on the issues with when the outlet can be powered on and C) don't want to have to worry about the power limitations of the outlet.

With going under the hood I could just take an anderson connector to use between different items.

I used the trailer outlet. Seems to work very well. There is a post or two on here, detailing what you want to achieve

Trailer outlet? You mean the Nato plug?
No, the trailer outlet, if you are wanting to charge the battery. Jump starting might be different, but if you want to jump start the vehicle, there are pos’ & Neg’ posts built in. Left hand side of engine bay.
