Meross msg100hk. Bought and installed, works flawlessly. Install took about 30 minutes, everything just works. Garage status/open/close button comes up on CarPlay screen when getting close to home. The unit has added functionality over Homelink in that it shows the open or closed status of the door at anytime, from any device linked to your HomeKit (which is all pretty seamless for those unfamiliar or wary of tech). After sharing access to the HomeKit instance my wife’s cars now have the opener on her CarPlay as well. Good call Scott!
Any idea how this works with multiple garage doors? I’ll have four, but maybe only need two with smart/homelink.

$129.00 USD

I recieved this device today. It took all of 5 minutes to program gates and garage door. It doesn't matter if there are Dip switches which are on the Gate. The easiest way to program is to use a programmed remote. Very fast no learn buttons needed. Simple instructions. It comes with a stencil so you can cut the dash and push it in. Has a lithium battery 3v.
Where did you install it? I have the the same thing and was thinking of to the left of the steering wheel.

My wagon is on the way. I have the VIN and it may be ready for shipping. But yes the left side looks good, I will also put my mag cell charger there also. When you push it into the hole you may cut, there is a cardboard guide so it willl clip. You need 2.5" behind the button. I programed it in 5 minutes both buttons using a double remote. Very easy.

Good deal. I'm installing a Wolfbox 900 rear view mirror this weekend and will have the panel off to the left of the steering wheel. I'll install the Homelink switch then and post some pictures next week.

I installed the Homelink switch to the left of the steering wheel. Lots of room behind the trim piece. Photo below....

I like what you did, very professional. Tell me, how did you make the hole, I see the template in the box. Is the dash very brittle or is it soft enough to use a utility knife. I spent several hours at the dealer today. My Grenadier arrived Sunday night weeks earlier than thought. I'm very pleased. I was told there was much interest in my ride in the last two days. I guess they will have to order their own copy. I won't get it for several days they asked for time. I gave them a list of work I want. I'm glad they are doing it, I won't have to deal with my warranty being voided. I brought then most of my purchases, i.e. the Wolfbox G900, Urban UK side steps. Other stuff hasn't arrived and I do it myself. Several USC connections for both sides of the dashboard. My cars have Valentine One G2's in them and I forgot to give the power cord, its about 10 inches with two probes, they will feed them into the ADAS box behind the mirror to grab 12V switched off with the ignition. Anyway I can't remember too much, however I want to add the HomeLink just like you did. (y)

The plastic is very soft and I cut it with utility knife from the back. There is a grid of ribs on the back of the panel. Be sure to center the switch between the ribs. You will see what I mean when you remove the panel. Good luck!

Thank you, I'll remove that piece if possible, I'm glad its soft. My dealer won't do anything electrical for me except the wolfbox install. I wanted them to put in the usb-c's. They said it would void the warranty. I will run them myself from the under seat battery. They put on the Urban side steps, and the Fox Steering Stabilizer because it is not adjustable.

I pulled at the panel at the steering wheel and the firsvery happyt snap came open. I wasn't sure how to get the panel off. With a flashlight I peered inside, wow so much real-estate, due to the center stack. I used thick blue painters tape and made a cross. In the center I would cut. I used a blade to cut out the template. I put the template in the center of the cross and traced it, then I went at it slowly with the utility blade, it was good, I didn't hit the ribs. I used a thin utility blade to make every thing clean. Then I popped it in. I'll add a USB-C as soon as the stuff arrives.
Happy, I am!
