They forgot something.

So had dealer put in Eibach springs and they forgot something here. I heard a clanking sound, checked bottle jack, good, crawled under rear and BAM!! No reconnect to the rear sway bar both sides. 😡😡 Question is am I damaging anything by continuing to drive it? No off-roading planned near future but 4-5 hour tarmac drive Tuesday.

I would personally not drive it anywhere except back to the dealership. Should be a rapid and simple fix.

I think the risk of damage is minimal on road but the stability of the rear end will be different. I imagine you'll feel the weight shift and body roll exaggerated, not ideal for highway speed.

For the dealer: F1 penalty "Unsafe Release"

Dealer 3 hours away. Slow drive over mountain pass all tarmac?
Get them to come to you and make sure they bring the right size nuts and torque up correctly. Or zip tie the sway bar and drive over. Also get them to touch up paint to the damaged its done on the photo in case of future rust.

Just document it and pop the correct nuts on. Get a local to do it if you have to.
Not a great look for the dealer but at the end of the day, not a disaster.

That is a rather obvious miss... I would be checking the rest of their work and what they did elsewhere on the Vehicle (in its entirety). Could other nuts/bolts/bits be loose or missing???
