I've never had the opportunity to own a Land Rover product but I had the pleasure of testing a few during my days at PistonHeads Towers. Range Rover SVR (loud, obnoxious but made me smile every time I had the privilege of driving it), Land Rover Defender Heritage Edition in that glorious Grasmere Green paint. And I can't forget having a mate back in Malta letting me drive their SWB V8 90 and an ex's dad letting me pootle around his boat factory in the rusted but still running Series 2A. These were all short lived events but memorable. How many of you have ever owned a Land Rover product? It can be a 1948 Series I, a 2023 Range Rover Evoque, or anything inbetween. Please answer yes or no and, if you would like to share which models you have owned, please share in the comments.
Now that you've written this, I'm having second thoughts about whether I should really sell my 86 Range Rover. Not that I'll be annoyed afterwards.Hmmmm '92 Range Rover Classic, 96 NAS D90 softtop, 96 Range Rover P38, Disco 1, Disco 2. The D90 was the keeper: just passed it on to a friend. Wish I had kept the Classic Rangie!
Is it a Classic or a P38. If it is a Classic and in good condition, keep it. There will never be another vehicle like it! And they are appreciating! Now that you've written this, I'm having second thoughts about whether I should really sell my 86 Range Rover. Not that I'll be annoyed afterwards.
