A Tdi Pickup and a TD5 Station wagon. We still have both but them being 20 years old we are looking forward to the Grenadier.

How many of you have ever owned a Land Rover product? It can be a 1948 Series I, a 2023 Range Rover Evoque, or anything inbetween. Please answer yes or no and, if you would like to share which models you have owned, please share in the comments.
Series 2a, swb and an axle breaking lwb plus Range Rover 1974 (guess)

Had a defender 2014 model. One of the last Puma 110s. Took it over to NZ in 2018 and sold it there - it now lives in a farm in Dunedin.
 
. . . actually -beside the Grenadier- a 90 st (dual climate control), in the past 2 x 110 TD5.

Among some other Land Rovers I have an 86 Range Rover with few kilometres from one very old previous owner in Spain. He drove it exclusively on his own. The interior is in very good condition. I have always thought about selling it or exchanging it for a 2-door.

In this context, a question to the English friends here: Have any of you ever bought a Range from Damon at Kingsley Cars or had it repaired? I have been to him twice now and have looked at the vehicles and his work. Feel free to send a personal message. Thank you for your opinion.
 
i have never owned a landrover and i dont think I ever will. This does not prevent me from seeing many merits in the Grenadier
 
With some sadness I sold our 95 Disco V8 to a lovely country couple this afternoon.
Luckily I've still got the '73 S3 with the 1939s design engine as a reminder of how far we've come in 1/2 century.

Had two Discovery 4s. Very comfortable daily drive. Last 10 years had a 1996 300tdi Defender SW. Loved what it looked like and what it would do but not the cabin noise, leaks (inside and out - you all know 🤣). Just replaced it with Grenadier SW in solid white. Awesome. Drives brilliantly. Looks amazing. Same false sensor error codes as I've read about elsewhere but not detracting from my enjoyment.

I bought a LR new, and 9 years into it, it is still running fine. Having bought it from a local dealer the service and care has been excellent. HOWEVER, had I not bought it new from that dealer, I don't think I'd be getting all the loaner vehicles I keep getting when the LR is in for service. This turned out to be critical. I've not had great experience at local garages, so I stick with the dealer's service department. The LR is my daily driver, so if it's in the shop, I need a loaner. LR does that. The LR has about 90k miles, and the biggest repair was a turbo replacement. I can't say I've been particularly nice to the LR. My prior drive was a Forrester, and over time I was breaking everything on that car related to suspension, struts, routers, brake pads, and even parts of the engine were flagging. The Forrester was crumbling, as it was made to be driven nicely & stay fully on paved roads, and I just don't do that. By comparison, I've had no, none, zip suspension related issues on the LR, and I've been a good bit more reckless with it. I drive like Mr. McGoo - up and over everything in front of me, without a care or concern. That chewed up the Forrester, but the LR has endured 9 years. NB, my LR has no air suspension - it's coil/sping, so that simpler set up is a likely contributor to the success I've had. I'm not sure how my driving style would pair with air suspension?! The wheel arches on my LR are high - the ND always seems to be sporting little room for the wheel on top, but then again, that's because I'm looking at a parked ND. Maybe while driving the suspension lifts to add another 2" to the wheel arch?
