Has anyone installed the Rydeen Tombo 360 camera?

Hi, I obviously see a lot of people with the Wolf Box installed and loving it but my local installer (Atlanta, GA) is recommending the Rydeen Tombo 360. I can’t seem to find any posts where someone has installed one (maybe that should tell me something) and the reviews on Amazon, at least, are mixed.

The shop will install a wolf box but I need to buy it and bring it to them. Wolf box much cheaper and I like the WiFi sync on the g900 pro so I’m not sure why they think the rydeen is better.

If anyone has a rydeen or at has even seen a side by side.e comparison, I’d love any thoughts.

Thanks!

I have a Wolfbox 900 and in general i am happy. It could have a better quality rear camera. The rydeen seems to use the sony sensor which has a very good reputation. Specially at night where the contrast between dark and car lights overshoots most camera capabilities. Also the parking surveillance is a feature i would want. I had two incidents with my grenadier, both hit and run. Its a big car. parking space gets tight.

That's my assessment also.
There is a general trend on the forum to copy what others have done if it's working. I think that's been the case with the Wolfbox series of mirror cameras. Nothing wrong with the product although there is room for improvement. Not too many others have gone down the path of trying something else and going first.

The G900 series uses an older Sony sensor. The G900Pro uses the Sony Starvis 2 (IMX678) so has improved performance.

Hello, I had the wolf pack installed on the window inside.
Works perfect.
Also some solar panels on the roof, to charge my aux battery.
We use a fridge when buying foodstuffs and that give us more power.
My gren is named the Tank.
Since 2023 , and still love it.
