Opinions wanted on LCD rear view mirror manufacturers

The only ‘hard’ part of that install was that ridiculously tight boot/sheathe covering the existing wires going into the big back door. Took some real elbow grease to feed the wolfbox rear camera wire through that thing
I didnt bother with that. I just took the cable straight across and its been fine.

The front camera is recording what you're already looking at. It's nice for setup, but, why shrink the rear real estate in half while driving?
No idea. I probably changed it and never needed to change it to full rear. The mirror's real estate is insanely bigger than the stock mirror so it didn't matter much.

I wonder though if I do not have the front camera showing and I need to take a front picture will it take the picture or only which camera view is showing.

Mine is permanently recorded front and rear. I would just take a screen grab from the video footage
