Gutters surviving 420kg?

No worries Tom. I was after the rack to just carry a few Maxtrax recovery boards and possibly a jerry can. We are still throwing ideas around as to how to carry the recovery boards.
@KDJDGrenadier : In that case, from personal experience, I can thoroughly recommend a pair of the "Ineos" RhinoRack roof bars set at the relevant distance (837mm? centres) to accommodate the Maxtrax locking pins) plus a "narrow" roof basket to contain the jerry cans. Cost wise ($650) approx, the bars are well under cost and weight of the roof rack. A pair of roof bars weighs 14kg total... Similar weight or less for a 1250mm x 950mm x125mm roof basket (approx $150)....
(The RhinoRack roof bars are the 'reconn deck' bars (1700mm) with "T slots" on all 4 surfaces which makes them very adaptable.)
