Guards for the buttons on the steering wheel, so you don't press them EVERY time you turn! (are others interested in this design?)

Purchased.

And I just want to say that I am thrilled that you did this. It's exactly the type of owner-created product that the community Skunk Works was hoping to encourage when @Stu_Barnes set it up. Well done.

This past weekend was the first time it ever happened to me but it was during some pretty steering-wheel shifting off-roading. It's a great design - thanks for helping our community.

One of the things I like about the interior is all of the aircraft style guards that make you less likely to accidently flip on a switch you didn't intend to.

BUT...

I always hit the microphone button when I'm turning the wheel, especially in parking lots, which annoyingly makes my grenadier listen to what's being said and disrupt the music or my concentration!
To this end, I fabricated a couple of guards that protect these buttons:

It has a recess on the back side so the button is not depressed, and sits about .187 high, just enough so your palm does not hit the button when you turn the wheel, but the button is still easy to press when you need it.

would anyone else be interested in these? The design is still a prototype, but if there's enough interest, I could make up a batch of them.
Let's have 'em.
